SPECIALTY COFFEE AND SINGLE ORIGIN BEANS
Our selection of Coffee beans are grown around the world and can have an incredible variety of flavors. However, there are some general characteristics to different regions and is why beans are labeled to a particular country or “Origin”. Single origin beans can vary in definition, one farm, one crop, or one country. Most importantly. it is not a blend of what every can be bought at a certain price by a particular buyer. If we bought it, you can rest asured, that coffee CUPS AS SOME OF THE BEST COFFEE AVAILABLE IN THAT AREA.
· For mild coffees, focus on Central American or Island coffees (Puerto Rico, Hawaii).
· For espresso, try an espresso blend or use Brazil as single origin espresso.
· For darker roasts and coffees with lots of body, check out Indonesian (Sumatra) or Brazilian coffees; these tend to have more body, less acidity and take a dark roast well.
· For bright, flavorful coffees, try Kenyan coffees which can tend to be more acidic, more citrus or Ethiopian coffees which can be fruited or bittersweet chocolate.
These are only generalizations and cannot be taken as true in all cases, especially if it's a slightly unusual processing method or varietal!
